The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is set to strengthen Skoda’s position in India’s crowded mid-size SUV segment. Prices are expected by March 2026. The updated Kushaq will continue to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, and upcoming models like the Renault Duster and Nissan Tekton.

Mechanically, Skoda sticks with proven options. The SUV retains the 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines. The big update is the new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 1.0 TSI, replacing the older 6-speed unit. The 1.5 TSI variants now get rear disc brakes, improving braking performance.

Design updates are noticeable. The facelift brings revised LED headlamps, new DRLs, a segmented grille light strip, refreshed bumpers, new alloy wheels, and connected LED tail-lamps with illuminated Skoda lettering. A panoramic sunroof is now offered. New paint options include Cherry Red, Shimla Green, and Steel Grey.

Inside, the Kushaq feels more premium. Key upgrades include a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, updated steering wheel, powered and ventilated front seats, rear seat massage function, wireless charging, and a 6-speaker audio system. Safety remains strong with six airbags as standard, ESC, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX mounts, and front parking sensors.

With 491 litres of boot space and 188 mm ground clearance, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq targets buyers who want performance, space, and safety in one package.
